"Manly"

I've realized that the phrase "manly" often makes more sense if you take it to mean "having qualities associated with a good human" rather than "having qualities associated with a good male". That is, if you use the word "man" to mean the human race.

At any rate, an adjective that means "having qualities associated with a good human" really ought to exist.
